The Peace Treaty

According to bible scholars, an event will occur seven years prior to the return of Jesus.  That event is the enactment of a peace treaty between Israel and her enemies.  This peace treaty will be brokered by the Antichrist and the one-world government and will last for three and a half years.

Just yesterday, Robert Wexler (D-Fla 19th District) resigned from the US Congress to be the president of the Center for Middle East Peace and Economic Cooperation.  If you don't remember Robert Wexler, he was the only congressman present with Bill Clinton at the Wye River Memorandum signing between Benjamin Netanyahu and Yasser Arafat.  While the peace agreement was signed, it has yet to be implemented.

Mystery Babylon the Great

Revelation 17-18 introduces us to a woman with something written on her forehead:

MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT
THE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTES
AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH

Who is this woman? Who does she represent? There are many clues to identify her. Many say that the woman represents the Catholic church. Others say she represents organized religion. Yet others, like me, believe that she represents the last world superpower that exists before the rise of the Antichrist and the One-World Government.

I believe the key to understanding her identity is found in Revelation 18:11 -- "The merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her because no one buys their cargoes any more..."

My question to you is: Who do you think will be the last world superpower before the rise of the One-World Government?

10 Virgins and the Bridegroom

In Matthew 25:1-13 Jesus tells the parable of 10 virgins waiting for the return of their bridegroom. As it turns out, five of the virgins are ready and five are not when the bridegroom returns. The bridegroom departs with the five who are ready and leaves the other five behind.

The story represents the imminent return of Jesus to reclaim his bride at the end of the age--the Lord's second coming. The recent events in our nation have made me realize that we are clearly in the last days.
